Shahi Sooji Halwa Recipe: How To Make Shahi Sooji Halwa
To begin with, take a bowl and fill it with warm water. Add almonds in the bowl and soak them overnight. Next morning, peel almonds and roughly chop them and also crunch green cardamom with mortar and pestle.
For the sugar syrup, heat a saucepan and pour water in it. Once the water starts boiling, add saffron strands, sugar to taste, and crushed cardamoms. Stir for about 5-6 minutes and your syrup is ready!
Heat ghee in a frying pan, add sooji and stir until it changes colour. Add sugar syrup and simmer for 10-12 minutes. Garnish it with rose petals and dry fruits. Your halwa is ready to be relished.
