Mumbai 24 June 2024, Non-profit organization Arzoo Swabhiman Nagrik Samiti provided affordable housing to hundreds of low-income families in Kurla East and Upper Thane.
At an event held on Sunday, the organization’s president, Rajendra Mehta, and Nagendra Sharma, district president of the BJP’s Uttar Bhartiya Morcha Kalyan, distributed the house keys to the beneficiary families. Former Deputy Mayor Babubhai Bhawanji extended his best wishes to everyone on this occasion.
The organization has so far provided affordable housing to more than 4,000 families in Mumbai city and suburbs by giving them subsidy under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Talking about the the initiative, President of the Arzoo Swabhiman Nagrik Samiti, Mehta said, “The main objective of our organization is to make Mumbai slum-free and provide affordable housing to the poor.” It is noteworthy that housing loans were provided to the needy at low interest rates by Nivara Credit Society.
