Bhajiya is one of the most loved street-food snacks out there. Potato slices dipped in a flavourful besan batter – these crispy delights never fail to disappoint. In this recipe, bhajiyas are clubbed together in a pav with delicious imli chutney. Serve it with some green chutney and fried chillies and indulge in its goodness. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at the recipe: 

Bhajiya Pav Recipe: How To Make Bhajiya Pav 

To begin with the recipe, first, we need to prepare the besan batter. In a bowl, add besan, rice flour, baking soda, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt. Now, gradually add water to combine everything together. Next, slice the potatoes in circular shape and dip them into the besan batter. (Make sure they are fully coated from both sides.)

Heat oil in a pan and deep-fry the potato slices until golden brown. To prepare the imli chutney, soak the imli overnight. Now, add imli pulp in a pan and allow it to come to a boil. Add jaggery powder. Mix well. Add red chilli powder, black salt, cumin powder and salt. Split each bun into halves and spread the imli chutney on both sides. Keep the fried potato slices or bhajiya between the pav and serve.
