The grandmother got creative with the recipe, with Drake playing in the background. She ground a few rusk biscuits into fine powder. Then, she mixed 1.5 cups of the powdered rusk with 1/2 cup sugar, 1 cup curd, 1 tsp baking powder, a pinch of baking soda and salt each, 1 cup ghee, 3 tbsp Bournvita, and 1 cup milk in a blender. Afterwards, she lined a cake tin with butter paper, poured the batter evenly, and baked it in a pan.
While the cake worked its magic, Dadi was totally in the zone, vibing and grooving to Drake’s ‘Fair Trade’. Once it was done, she took the cake out, tasted it, and gave it the thumbs up – the ultimate seal of approval!
