The complex balance of tangy and sweet has us munching on this snack. Recently, a street vendor in Amritsar has gone viral for giving a delicious spin to aam papad. Can you guess what it is? The stall vendor chopped some khatta meetha aam papad, added some chunks of totapari aam papad followed by a cherry pink version, and finally, some dried kesar aam papad and a thin slab of sour aam papad. The street vendor topped the aam papad assortment with a red chutney along with a mix of masalas. The food blogger Pujneet Singh, aka Bhooka Saand, even shared the location of the street vendor: Jalebi Chowk, Amritsar. You can watch the full video here:

If the viral video has made you crave some tasty aam papad, you can make it right in your own home. Blend the pulp of the mangoes with some sugar and a little bit of salt. Take a plastic sheet and spread the pulp evenly on it. Place the sheets under the sun to dry them out. Once the upper layer is dry, turn it over and dry it some more until there is no moisture left.
