Recently, a video of a woman pranking her son has gone viral on the internet and netizens are breaking out in massive laughter.

The viral video was shared on Instagram by @ladbible. The video begins with a little boy being treated to delicious candy floss by his mother. However, before he could eat it, the mother instructed him that he should wash it before eating. Not knowing what happens to candy floss when mixed with water, he innocently dips it in a bowl of water only to watch it get dissolved in front of him. He was obviously surprised and disappointed, but pranking him once wasn’t enough for his mother. She once again handed out a piece of candy floss to him, asking him to wash it before eating. Utterly confused, the little boy gave up and expressed that he wanted to eat the candy floss in the most adorable manner. Take a look:

Ever since the video was uploaded, it has garnered 1.8 million views, 38K likes and thousands of comments. Many users found it hilarious and expressed that they wanted to prank their own kids in the same way, while some found it to be mean on the mother’s part. Check out some of the reactions below:
