After the failure of Russia's Luna-25 mission which had similar ambitions, the world's eyes are on India. The mission, launched by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), has three objectives - to carry out a safe and soft landing on the lunar surface, show the rover's roving capabilities, and conduct in-situ scientific experiments.
