Check Proton Drive, a Google Photos alternative to store all your images with end-to-end encryption

[ad_1] Google Photos is one of the most popular cloud-based image and video storage platforms. But a part of the reason why it is so popular is that it comes pre-installed with Android smartphones, and it auto-backups media files, becoming a convenient solution for those who do not want to fill their internal storage with them. However, this is also the reason why many people never look for or find out about other such platforms that offer unique features and more security. Proton Drive is one such alternative platform that lets Android users seamlessly store their images while securing them with end-to-end encryption.Proton Drive, a Google Photos alternativeProton Drive is built by Proton, a company known for its secure mail and VPN services. Particle physics pushing cancer treatment boundaries

[ad_1] Researchers at Europe's science lab CERN, who regularly use particle physics to challenge our understanding of the universe, are also applying their craft to upend the limits to cancer treatment. The physicists here are working with giant particle accelerators in search of ways to expand the reach of cancer radiation therapy, and take on hard-to-reach tumours that would otherwise have been fatal. In one CERN lab, called CLEAR, facility coordinator Roberto Corsini stands next to a large, linear particle accelerator consisting of a 40-metre metal beam with tubes packed in aluminium foil at one end, and a vast array of measurement instruments and protruding colourful wires and cables. The research here, he told AFP during a recent visit, is aimed at creating very high energy...
