Artificial intelligence is the next technology that could get support — and new guardrails — from the US government, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said.Senate Democrats are accelerating discussions about how to respond to the surge in AI technology in a way that replicates a bipartisan act meant support US semiconductor manufacturing, which was signed into law last year.
