Smriti Irani’s Dessert Includes Malpua With Rabri, Claims It To Be A ‘Conspiracy’

But do you know that Union Minister Smriti Irani’s heart goes out to which sweet? Traditional Indian pancakes—malpua. Well, thanks to her social media skills, we could get a glance at her sweet tooth. The minister shared a picture of her dessert plate with three malpuas. However, she claimed that a “conspiracy to keep her fat” is going on behind her back. Smriti Irani doubts that because she was served this lip-smacking sweet just after a meal of “sauteed broccoli.” The text with the picture read, “Conspiracy to keep me fat…when after a meal of sauteed broccoli they serve…Malpua.”

Smriti Irani relished three malpuas with rabri. To make it extremely pleasing, the malpuas were served with dry fruits like cashew, raisins, almond and walnut. The Union Minister’s story made us decide that we must look at some amazing variations of this desi sweet.
