India on Friday thrashed New Zealand by eight wickets in the first semi-final of the ongoing ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup in Potchefstroom. With the win, India booked their place in the final, and will now face either Australia or England in the summit clash on Sunday. Chasing a total of 108, Shweta Sehrawat slammed an unbeaten 61 to take India across the finishing line. Earlier, Parshavi Chopra bagged three wickets as India restricted New Zealand to 107/9 in 20 overs.
