Monica O My Darling OTT release date: Know when Rajkummar Rao thriller is coming to Netflix

Rajkummar Rao has already featured in two entertaining movies Badhai Do and Hit: The First Case. And yet the fans cannot have enough of him. For all the fans of his acting, there is some great news. He will soon be appearing in a thriller-comedy film Monica O My Darling. But he’s not alone. The movie also features Huma Qureshi who will be featuring in her first Hindi-language movie this year (not considering the special appearance in Gangubai Kathiawadi). And finally, the movie also stars Radhika Apte whose film Vikram Vedha is currently running at the theaters. So, with a star cast like this, the film looks promising to say the least. Monica O My Darling OTT release announced

Directed by Vasan Bala and written by Yogesh Chandekar, the film is a neo-noir thriller which appears to take place around a casino. The trailer of the film came out on August 30 and it hints at a con-job. Although the film seems to be more than a heist film, its stylization is pretty similar. Although story direction adds an Indian aesthetic to the heist genre. At the moment not much is known about the movie but both Qureshi and Apte are going to bring their iconic persona to the stage.

The movie stars Rajkummar Rao, Huma Qureshi, Radhika Apte, Radhika Madan, Sikander Kher in main roles. Monica O My Darling name has been taken from the popular song in the film Caravan.

The official Twitter account of Netflix India announced the OTT release date of the movie on October 12, 2012. In the tweet, the account said, “Someone please tell @RajkummarRao that he already has a hold on our hearts. He doesn’t need a claw for it. Monica O My Darling, premieres on 11th November! #MOMD #MonicaOMyDarling”.

The movie comes out in less than a month. But do note, in order to watch the movie, you will need a subscription to Netflix.
