Rajasthani Gatte Ka Pulao Recipe: How To Make Rajasthani Gatte Ka Pulao

First, we need to prepare the gatte. For this, add all the ingredients to a bowl and add water to form a smooth dough. Divide it into equal portions and make small balls. Boil them in water for a few minutes, and then keep them aside. To make the pulao, heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Add jeera, elaichi, bay leaf, mustard seeds, cinnamon stick, and cloves, and saute for a minute or two. Add the onions and saute until they become golden brown in colour.
Now, add the tomatoes along with the haldi and red chilli powder and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Mix in the potatoes, carrots, and boiled gatte. Combine everything together. Add in the soaked rice and water and bring it to a boil. Once it starts to boil, cover the pressure cooker and cook for one whistle. Once done, garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot!
