Consultant nutritionist Rupali Datta states, “It is absolutely okay to drink haldi doodh throughout the year. All you need to do is keep a check on how much haldi you are taking.” She also mentions that having it in excess can cause an upset stomach, nausea, dizziness, and also pain in the body. “I would recommend taking haldi doodh in a moderate quantity, even during the summers, to attain its health benefits,” she adds.

It is usually recommended to have about one-fourth teaspoon of haldi in the drink and about a teaspoon throughout the day. Rupali Datta explains, anything in excess may trigger certain reactions, especially when the body naturally heats up during the summer.
