To start with the recipe, first pan-fry the paneer in some oil to prevent it from breaking. Here’s a hack: To keep the paneer soft after frying, soak it in lukewarm water for some time.
Next, heat some oil and fry ginger, garlic, onion, capsicum, green chillies, along with soy sauce, tomato ketchup, sugar, salt and pepper. When you get the desired consistency of the gravy, add paneer, and some vinegar and toss. Ideally, this dish should have a semi-dry gravy. Finally, garnish with spring onion and serve.
