India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has finally stepped into the electric vehicle segment with the launch of its first electric scooter on Friday, October 7. With the launch of the new Hero Vida 1, the company joins the rush into the cleaner vehicle segments dominated by Ather Energy and Ola Electric – the premium electric scooters. Hero electric scooter will be offered in two variants named Vida V1 Pro and Vida V1 Plus. Both the variants offer a top speed of 80kmph and over 100 combinations for usage whether performance or efficiency is required. Hero Vida V1 features

Hero Vida 1 launched with spacious storage under the seats along with 7-inch HD touch display, cruise control with resume function, Intelligent Two way throttle to make reverse and parking easier. Additionally, it provides boost mode to pass high torque needed. For security, it comes with an S.O.S alert at your fingertips in case of an emergency.

The companys says that the Hero V1 Pro can get charged from 0 to 100 percent within 2 hrs and 17 min, while V1 Pls model will take around 2 hours for the full charge. It also supports smartphone connectivity to offer navigation, monitoring, configuring, sharing, or booking for charging. You also get a dual battery option available here.

Hero Vida V1 Price

The new Hero Vida V1 electric scooter starts at a price of Rs. 145000 for its V1 Plus model, while V1 Pro model is priced at Rs. 1,59,000, which is higher than most of the other electric scooters in India. The company says that it will have a minimum range of 143kms on a single charge

Hero Vida V1 prebooking

Hero will start taking bookings on October 10 and deliveries will begin in December. However, the launch will take place in different phases, and in the first Phase I includes Jaipur, Delhi, and Bangalore.
