Ronaldo walked down memory lane and revealed how he was offered free hamburgers by McDonald’s server Edna and two others. This gesture left a lasting impression on him. During that interview, Ronaldo revealed that he is still looking for her and how he wishes to invite her to his home for dinner. Now this throwback conversation started making rounds on the internet after British Entrepreneur Frank Khalid OBE revealed what Ronaldo did when he met Edna. Yes, as per Frank’s tweet, Ronaldo met Edna and gifted her “the largest restaurant in Portugal.”

Frank Khalid OBE shared a collage picture of Edna with Cristiano Ronaldo and wrote a lengthy note, detailing his conversation. The tweet read, “Cristiano Ronaldo: I’m still looking for a burger seller! The one who used to feed me for free, when I was poor, to return the favour to her. The seller, Caldina Caldas, replied to one of the Portuguese channels: I am very happy with him, and this attitude indicates his humility.” Frank added, “Cristiano Ronaldo met her, kissed her hand, thanked her, and provided her with the largest restaurant in Portugal and other gifts.”

Guess what? Soon after Frank Khalid’s tweet revived the incident, innumerable users dropped clips of Cristiano Ronaldo’s interview. The fan claimed that this clip is for those who doubt the incident. The user wrote, “People who are doubting the authenticity of this story.”

In the clip, Cristiano Ronaldo can be heard saying, “We had a McDonald’s next to the stadium where we lived, and we’d always go to the back door and knock on the door… ‘Hey, any burgers left?’” He added, “And Edna and two more girls, which… They are unbelievable. I never found the girls again. I spoke with some people in Portugal to try to find the girls but they closed the McDonalds. But I hope, if this interview will help to find them, I will be so happy.” Ronaldo continued, “I want to invite them to Turin or Lisbon to come to my house, to come to have dinner with me and I want to find these girls to be honest. I want to give something back.” Ronaldo concluded by saying that he appreciates that moment a lot, and has not forgotten about it.
