It doesn’t get much higher than this. Located at the World Trade Centre, High offers clear views of the horizon and the city from its unique 31st-floor location. The space has been reimagined after an elaborate makeover. It’s two distinct spaces rolled into one – a High energy Resto Lounge and Horizon, a 40-seater restaurant with an intimate dining experience. The Asian signatures are the highlight – the sushi rolls are top-class.
Where: World Trade Centre, Dr Rajkumar Road.

2. Copitas, Four Seasons Bengaluru:

It’s one of our favourite spots in Bengaluru for a sundowner. Located on the 21st floor, Copitas (that takes its name from the Spanish term for a slim stemmed cocktail glass), is one of Bengaluru’s most progressive cocktail bars. One of the newest additions to the menu is a range of artisanal cocktails that are inspired by the ethos of using every part of the plant, from seed to fruit.
Where: Four Seasons Bengaluru, Bellary Road.

3. Layla, The Den Bengaluru:

One of our favourite rooftop F&B spots in Whitefield, Layla is one of the most beautiful spaces at The Den, a design-driven luxury hotel brand. You can begin our Layla experience outdoors; it’s perfect for pre-dinner cocktails. Then head indoors for a more intimate dining experience that evokes the charms of a different era with its cosy booths. The menu showcases signature dishes from the Mediterranean and the Middle East.

4. Hype, Shangri-La Hotel Bengaluru:

Almost nothing stands in the way of 360-degree views of the city, from Hype’s 19th floor location except the retractable roof. The music swings from lounge to retro and more funkier sounds on the weekend. It’s the cocktails that are Hype’s calling card aside from the gorgeous views. Most regulars also swear by their Asian tapas.

5. Falak, Leela Bhartiya City, Bengaluru:

Choose from views of Nandi hills in the distance and city panoramas as you dine at Leela’s new restaurant with a strong slant towards Awadhi cuisine. The slow-cooked chicken is a house favourite, we also recommend their Indian-inspired cocktails. Catch a beautiful sunset in the al-fresco section before you head to the elegantly designed indoor section.

6. Bang, The Ritz Carlton Bangalore:

It’s smack in the middle of the Bengaluru CBD and still offers uncluttered views. It’s a great spot for a sundowner and is the perfect setting for a relaxed after-hours evening with your co-workers or buddies. While the views are almost unparalleled, Bang’s mixologists have quite a few tricks up their sleeve. Their infused gins and whisky cocktails are worth checking out.

7. Kaze:

Takes its name from the Japanese word for wind. You can feel the wind in your face as you take in the views from one of the highest F&B hotspots in the Bengaluru CBD. While the al-fresco section is immensely popular, we also dig the art-deco elements that embellish the atmospheric indoor dining section. Kaze offers a fine selection of Pan-Asian signatures. There’s room for everything from Sashimi to fiery Thai curries.
Where: Lavelle Road

8. Ebony:

This one makes our list for sheer nostalgia. Located atop Barton Centre on MG Road, Ebony was one of the first rooftop dining spots that hit the Bengaluru dining scene. Ebony’s Kakori Kabab is a local legend of sorts. The menu is loaded with comfort food but it’s the views that continue to keep Ebony in the mix.
