Food is a subject of much discussion, innovation and experimentation. We often come across bloggers and chefs making their own versions of popular dishes. Recently, for instance, a chef created a Mac and Cheese flavoured with butter chicken gravy – a fusion dish that foodies were rallying for. But why do experimentations always have to be unhealthy and calorie-heavy? Popular food blogger Hina Gujral, who goes by the handle @funfoodandfrolic, has recently shared her new innovation called pull-me-up salad. The healthy food trend is a spinoff on the pull-me-up cakes that had been going viral in the recent past. Wondering what it is all about? Take a look at the video here:

The video was shared on Instagram Reels where it received immense appreciation from foodies and health enthusiasts. In the clip, the blogger had layered different kinds of beans, vegetables and a dressing in a jar. Then, she pulled up the jar to make the salad fall out in a bowl. She then enjoyed the three-bean salad with some delicious nachos. “Let’s start a New Trend. New Challenge. Pull Me Up Salad. It’s time we make something healthy trendy,” wrote blogger Hina Gujral in the caption of her video.

How quirky and creative right? We loved the idea of making salad in the pull-me-up format, thus putting a trendy spin to a healthy recipe. This makes fresh ingredients and healthy recipes look not just delicious but also visually appealing. The best part about the pull-me-up salad is that there is so much room for experimentation. Just pick the ingredients of your choice, layer them up in a jar and enjoy! Gujral has also shared several other pull-me-up salad recipes on her Instagram handle. Take a look:
