Sri Lanka cricket team all-rounder Kamindu Mendis became the first cricketer ever in the history of Test cricket to score two centuries in the same match while batting at No. 7 or below. Mendis achieved the feat on Day 3 of the first Test match against Bangladesh in Sylhet. Mendis scored 102 in the first innings and he followed it up with an impressive 164 in the second innings.
