The video opens with the fruit vendor singing out the price of the seasonal fruit. He says, “Tsamina mina, eh, eh mango mango, eh, eh Tsamina mina zangalewa… this is for Rs. 200.” Sticking to the tune of the peppy track, he changes the lyrics to further emphasize the different ways mangoes can be consumed. He urges people to buy mangoes for their children and make juice, among other things. His hilarious lyrics and creativity have left the internet in splits. Reacting to the post, one user termed it the “best sales technique.” Another user said, “What talent! I think he could have been a singer but ended up as a fruit seller.” People came up with hilarious nicknames for the fruit vendor. While some called him the “Pakistani Shakira,” others joked that this is what “Shakira in the mangoverse” would look like. Many also praised the vendor’s marketing skills.
