Drawing a parallel to a 1993 speech by Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Nadella stated, “What AI will do is it will put expertise at our fingertips,” underscoring the profound impact AI could have on knowledge accessibility.

While acknowledging the undeniable benefits of advancements like GenAI, he called for a mature social dialogue surrounding the responsible development and deployment of AI, highlighting the need to consider potential consequences.
