Here’s Masaba Gupta’s recipe for kala chana and green moon chilla:

Overnight Soaking: Soak the kala chana and green moong sprouts overnight.
- Make the Mix: Finely chop onion and dhaniya (coriander leaves). Add chilli flakes for a spicy kick. Incorporate a small teaspoon of besan (gram flour) for texture. Add one small tsp of rice atta (rice flour) for binding. Season with salt to taste. Add a little water to bind the mixture.
- Prepare the Chilla: Heat some ghee in a pan. With your hand, smoothen the mix on the pan to form a chilla.
- Cook to Perfection: Cook the chilla and enjoy your breakfast.
