Then comes the news of the iconic Oscars after parties, which are attended by several A-list celebrities from the film fraternity and beyond. Did you know actor and singer Madonna too hosted an after-party, which has an Indian spread on the menu? You read that right. Canadian actor Simu Liu, who played Ken along with actor Ryan Gosling in the 2023 film ‘Barbie’, took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to share the information, along with his thoughts on foods served at Oscars after-parties.
According to the post by Simu Liu, there was an exotic spread of delectable foods at the Governor’s Ball, one of the biggest parties hosted just after the Academy Awards. The menu, curated by Chef Wolfgang Puck, included wood-fired pizzas, paella, sliders, and Peking duck to name a few. But, Liu stated that he “did nothing but inhale food the whole time”.

The “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” actor then went on to share details of the after-party hosted by the fashion and lifestyle Magazine Vanity Fair. He stated the event had “in-n-out burgers on tap”, which one can never go wrong with.
Finally, Liu gave us a glimpse of the party hosted by Madonna, which as per the post had an elaborate Indian spread, including curry, rice, naan, and samosas. “Yum!!”, the post read.

He gave three out of 10 to the food served at the main Oscars event, the Governor’s Ball was delicious, and got 11 out of 10. He then gave Vanity Fair a seven out of 10 and Madonna’s menu got nine out of 10, as per the actor.
The post in no time took social media by storm, garnering more than one million views and hundreds of comments by now.
