Several Bollywood stars have confessed their love for South Indian food. Malaika Arora being the number fan. But, looks like she has some tough competition. Enter: Bhumi Pednekar. The actress shared a “Throwback Thursday” video which featured her ordering a host of dishes at a South Indian eatery. “My mouth is watering,” Bhumi says before she gets started exploring the menu. Wondering what all she ordered? Start noting it down. Bhumi, who was accompanied by her friends, went for “ghee roast masala, puran poli, curd rice, medu vada, palak paneer dosa, 1 plate mini idli with separate sambhar.”

The waiter repeated the order and added: “6 items ho gaye (there are 6 items now).” “Yes… perfect,” she replied. “What are you craving rn (right now)? #throwbackthursday,” Bhumi Pednekar captioned the post. Take a look at the video here:

We don’t blame you, Bhumi Pednekar. The smell of crispy dosas, the taste of piping-hot sambar, and the touch of feather-light idlis – South Indian food is an absolute treat to the senses. And, it is difficult to not fall in love with this cuisine. One of the South Indian dishes that is an integral part of Bhumi Pednekar’s diet on a usual day is curd rice. How do we know? The actress spilled the beans during an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Instagram. A fan wanted to know from Bhumi Pednekar, “What do you eat on a usual day?” The actress shared a slew of images to explain her meal preferences. The first which caught our attention was a plateful of curd rice with tomato chutney. It was accompanied by a smoothie bowl, topped with berries, banana slices, pumpkin and sabja seeds.
