The tweet was shared on @stats_feed on May 29, 2023. In a short span of time, the post has received over 600k views and thousands of comments and likes. “Big Mac price,” they wrote in the post along with a list of countries and how much the Big Mac costs in each in US dollars. The top country where Big Mac costs the most was Switzerland, where a single burger is priced at a whopping $7.26. Meanwhile, Uruguay, Norway and Sweden came in after followed by Denmark. Argentina was next at $5.31 followed by USA at $5.15. Meanwhile, in the bottom of the list were South Africa, India, Indonesia, Egypt and Venezuela where you can get a Big Mac in under $3.
This is not the only interesting data shared by the account. Previously, they also shared a list of countries with the rates of food inflation in them. As per theย data, Venezuela had the highest food inflation rate of 426% while South Sudan had the least at -24.8%. Take a look at the poll here:
