The share sale by promoters in India saw three times more demand than shares on offer, while that by Reliance Industries-led and Hathway Cable were subscribed 1.06 times and 40 per cent respectively. All three offer for sale (OFS) were launched by promoters to comply with the 25 per cent minimum public shareholding norms. Currently, the promoter holding in all three companies is far in access of 75 per cent, the maximum permitted. Wabco’s OFS closed on Friday, while Den and Hathway will close on Tuesday.
