Bad news! Voyager 2 makes last call? NASA spacecraft lost out in space

Voyager 2 is a space probe that was sent to explore planets far away in our solar system and it has reached the a region called interstellar space. Voyager 2 is the 2nd farthest human artefact from Earth after Voyager 1. But now, NASA is worried because something has gone wrong. The spacecraft's antenna has moved by two degrees due to a routine command glitch, and this little change has caused big trouble. Voyager 2 can't talk to Earth anymore or send back any data. The Deep Space Network's antennas on Earth can't reach it either. Voyager 2 is currently 19,935,511,250 kilometers away from Earth.NASA fears that this might be the end of communication with Voyager 2. It's getting farther and farther away from Earth, and it may never be able to talk to us again. Right now, it's about 19.9 ...

Bad news! NASA loses contact with iconic Voyager 2 spacecraft

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) faces a temporary communication challenge with its intrepid spacecraft, Voyager 2, as it continues its interstellar journey between stars. The issue arises from an inadvertent misalignment of the antenna, rendering the spacecraft unable to receive commands or transmit data back to Earth. Despite this setback, NASA remains optimistic about resolving the problem during the next scheduled orientation reset in October. Voyager 2, a testament to human engineering and exploration, stands as one of the most distant artificial object in space, second only to its predecessor, Voyager 1.Antenna Misalignment Causes Temporary Communication LossThe anomaly occurred on July 21 when a series of planned commands inadvertently caused Voyager 2's ...

Never-seen-before! NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope reveals why Saturn’s atmosphere is heating up

Earth's temperature is soaring mainly because of global warming. But, we cannot say the same for the other planets of our solar system. NASA's Hubble Space Telescope has figured out the reason behind the heating up of Saturn's atmosphere. It is because of the planet's own rings. Informing about the same NASA said in a release, "The secret has been hiding in plain view for 40 years. But it took the insight of a veteran astronomer to pull it all together within a year, using observations of Saturn from NASA's Hubble Space Telescope and retired Cassini probe, in addition to the Voyager 1 and 2 spacecraft and the retired International Ultraviolet Explorer mission."It further added, "The discovery: Saturn's vast ring system is heating the giant planet's upper atmosphere. The phenomenon has ...

NASA Image of the Day 1 January 2023: LARGEST Rock in Solar System!

The image of the largest rock in our solar system captured by Voyager 1 is the NASA Image of the Day. What is the name of this rock? Know here. NASA lets you discover something new in the cosmos every day! The space agency drops a new image of some part of our fascinating universe along with a brief explanation by an astronomer. Today, on the first day of the New Year, 2023, NASA has shared the image of the largest rock in our solar system. Have you seen that small dot on the right side of the light's streak? Yes, that is the largest rock in our solar system! It is famously called Pale Blue Dot. NASA claims that it is larger than every known asteroid, moon, and comet nucleus. It is even larger than any other local rocky planet. This image was captured by NASA's technological marvel V...

Historic! NASA Voyager 1 completes 10 years in interstellar Space; Can it still find alien life?

Voyager 1 has now spent ten years in interstellar space, marking a unique milestone for humanity. As it enters “pristine” interstellar space, can it find alien life? Find out. No matter how many spacecraft with advanced technology NASA makes these days, its most durable spacecraft came in the 1970s. It was the Voyager 1 which launched in 1977 along with Voyager 2 to explore Jupiter and Saturn. But now, 45 years later, not only is Voyager 1 still going strong, it has also marked a unique achievement by spending 10 years in interstellar space. For the unaware, interstellar space is the region beyond the solar system where the Sun's magnetic fields stop. This is where outer space truly begins and the possibilities open up. A ve...
